I Am New!

I love music! Just about every kind of music but my favorite is Contemporary Christian. One of my very favorite songs is "I Am New" by Jason Gray. Here are a couple lyrics:

We are all new creations from the moment we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour. But do you realize that you are a new creation every morning? Lametations 3:22-23 says "Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
We can do away with the old each day and wake up anew in the Presence of Christ. His compassion for us is unfailing! I don't know about you but I am a work in progress and need God's mercy every minute of the day. So give all the stuff from yesterday, this morning, an hour ago or even 5 minutes ago to Christ and let Him give you new mercies at this very moment!
